Last weekend, whilst the weather was glorious, we caught the over ground to Richmond, where we had a wander around Richmond's high street before heading to Kew Gardens. If you've never been to this area of London, it's well worth a Sunday stroll. The residential streets are brimming with three storey town houses and mini mansions.

As for Kew Gardens itself, it’s a must see! The grounds take you through Japanese inspired bamboo forests, quintessential lakes, countryside manors, and of course - the piece de resistance - the huge conservatories.

Exploring Kew Gardens

Dotted around are a range of different flower beds, featuring a variety of plants from all over the World. The conservatories themselves, are home to beautiful array of rainforest flora and fauna.

After all that walking, you can enjoy a refreshing cocktail in the Gin Garden. Not only is this little piece of heaven located in Kew Gardens, this Summer, but there is also a spice theme running through the park. From the heavenly smells of the spice garden, to interactive spice games, to weird and wonderful spicy drinks, there's something for everyone!

It was a really lovely day out and I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting London.
